Two-Toned Half Moon Entry

This half-moon entry table came to us after years of seasonal weathering trapped in a screened  porch.  After sanding the brown paint off and discovering the cherry wood top, we knew painting the top was not an option.  We applied tung oil to the top and duck egg blue to the body.  The leaf accents are highlighted with some gold wax to compliment the newly shined original brass knob.  A successful two-tone transformation is always a nice feather in the cap for us.

Hooded 9-Drawer

Bam! Take that dinged up 9-drawer dresser with a boring finish and no character, apply a few coats of Annie Sloan’ s Chicago Gray, and some brushed nickel, modernized hooded pulls, and PRESTO!  Your child’s room can have some pop with plenty of drawers.

Ladder Back Rocker with Half-Moon Accent

The Tall Ladder-Back rocker is a very well-built chair that needed new life.  With Annie Sloan’s Lem Lem undertones, topped with Svenska blue coated with white wax, that new life was achieved.  Partnered up with a half-moon end table refinished in Chicago Gray and new crystal-like knobs, this old rocker is now a must-sit-in masterpiece on the client’s porch.

Waterfall
Chest

This showcase piece started from a dusty garage with no life in sight and was remarkably refinished.  The original veneer cleaned beautifully with a little sandpaper and some tung oil.  We shined the hardware up, painted the trim with Annie Sloan’s Old White and sealed this gem up to create a focal point in the client’s home.

Louvered Door Storage Console

This piece did NOT fit in with the client’s new home color wheel.  It’s worn down and dated color was given a fresh look by painting the body inside and out with the Annie Sloan’s Pure White.  The top’s tone demonstrates how we can take five different colors and creatively blends Annie Sloan’s Old Ochre, French linen, Louis Blue, Coco and Chicago gray.  Sealed up with some clear and dark wax, this piece steals the show of their new home’s entry way.

DORM to HOME Chest

This chest may not be defined as ANTIQUE or VINTAGE, however, it held a special place In the clients heart.  With the client purchasing her first home she was dead set on keeping her glory days dresser but giving it the upgrade from Dorm room to Master bedroom.

With Duck Egg Blue by Annie Sloan, some gold wax accents and new hardware this piece has evolved into a home showcase.

Layered Low Back Rocker

This low back rocker was begging for a makeover!   The spindles needed to be restabilized, and the arms were a little wobbly, but after we were done with her, granny could rock again.   With layered Annie loan paints including Svenska, Emile, and Antoinette, topped with some white wax, everybody wanted rock in this one.

CiCi’s Vanity

This vanity restoration project was a lot of fun!  The client sent us a shade of blue that was in their room’s carpet pattern, and they wanted us to match it.  We nailed it!  This fully restored and refinished vanity was brought back to life with some minor repairs and fresh combination of Annie Sloan’s Oxford Blue and Chicago Gray.

3-Drawer Console

This fun 3-drawer console was initially a black with funky knobs piece. It was  destined for rehab as the client's plan was show off in their  home’s main entry.    With a couple coats of Chicago Grey, white wax and complimenting knobs, our mission was complete.

Dining Table Lift and Restore

This project is special!  The seller of the table said this is 200+ year heirloom had been passed down generation after generation but hit a dead end for use in their family.  While it was tough for them to let go, they were pleased to know it was getting restored and relocated to new home. Our client loved the table but in order to accommodate her wheelchair we had to modify the table’s apron and put some feet on the table to be accessible.

12-top
Dining Set

It’s always fun to take on the large projects on tight deadlines. With a Christmas party around the corner, the client challenged us to bring a dated 12 seat dining set to life with Annie Sloan’s Pure white on the table and the legs of the leather Charis.  The transformation is tremendous!
